How the Two Left Wheels 360 Windows app and this website handle your information.

The Two Left Wheels 360 app

The app has no advertising, usage analytics or telemetry. It does not check your licence online, and editing works without an internet connection. It connects to the internet only when you connect it to your account and when you send a bug report.

The app reads the recordings you add to a project and presents them, stitched, through a virtual drive on your computer. Your original recordings are only read, never changed or uploaded. Stitching, proxies and prepared audio are made on your computer.

The app stores its settings, your projects with the locations of their recordings, measurements of each recording and diagnostic logs on your computer. Logs can contain file names, folder paths, errors and timing information. The account connection is stored locally using Windows encryption.

Bug reports from the app

When you send a bug report from the app, it sends the title and description you write, a contact email if you enter one, the app version and your Windows version. Diagnostic logs are attached only if you choose to include them. The log file contains recent logs, the app and Windows version and the results of the dependency check. Your Windows user folder name is replaced in the logs. It contains no footage, prepared media or configuration files, but recording names and paths can appear in it. You can open the file on your computer before you send it.

Beta accounts and downloads

Registration stores your verified email address, the products whose betas you join, registration dates, download requests and connected app installations. We count download requests, which may include retries. This is not a count of completed downloads or app usage. One account can join multiple products separately. Registration does not enable usage telemetry, and it signs you up for no news or other emails you have not ticked.

Sign-in links expire after 15 minutes and can be opened more than once in that time, so that an email security scanner opening a link first does not use it up. A secure account cookie keeps you signed in for up to 30 days. App activation codes expire after 30 minutes and work once. Connected app credentials expire after 180 days and can be revoked from My account. Email and app credentials are separate. Editing does not require periodic online checks.

When requested, support confirmations are emailed only to your verified account address. They contain the ticket number and private access code, not uploaded logs. Account and download records are retained while needed to operate the beta and prevent abuse. Contact support@twoleftwheels.com to request access, correction or deletion.

Emails to beta testers

When you register, and later in My account, you choose two kinds of email for each product, each with its own box, unticked until you tick it: an email when a new beta version is released, and news about that product. We keep each choice with when and where it was made. Every such email has a link to stop it, which works without signing in, and you can change your choice in My account at any time.

Whatever you choose, we may email you about your own tickets and about your part in the beta, such as a reply to your question or a message about your report. Replies to our emails go to support@twoleftwheels.com.

A reply to a ticket is emailed only to the verified address of the account that sent it, or to an address given on the ticket that was confirmed and allowed contact about it. The email contains our reply, the ticket's title and message, and a link to the ticket, never uploaded logs.

In My account you can leave a product's beta: its downloads, app connection and emails end, and your tickets and rewards stay. You can also delete your account there: your email address is removed from the account, its tickets and the messages we sent to it, every beta ends, and a beta reward goes with the account; this cannot be undone. Support can do either for you on request.

Website and support information

The public website does not currently use advertising or analytics. When you submit a support request, the site stores the information you choose to enter, including a title, message, optional context, product version, device or environment details, related hardware, and an optional contact email.

You can send a ticket without an account, with or without an email. An email you give without an account receives only a link to confirm it; nothing else is sent to it unless that link is opened. Before a ticket is sent without an account, your browser solves a small puzzle from this site to show it is not a robot; nothing is sent to anyone else for it. Each report receives a private access code. The ticket number and code let you review its status and response.

Diagnostic ZIP attachments are optional. On the website, they are sent when you click Upload logs and attached when you submit the report. In the app, selected logs are sent when you click Submit report. Attachments remain private. They may contain file names and paths. Unsubmitted uploads expire after 24 hours and are deleted on subsequent upload activity. Submitted attachments follow the support-record retention policy below.

Camera sample contributions

A camera sample contribution may contain video, photographs, audio, file and device metadata, and the complete folder structure created by the camera. Use a clean memory card, do not include unrelated recordings or confidential material, and avoid recording other identifiable people where practical.

Recordings are sent from the Support page (Send sample recordings): your browser uploads them to private storage at Microsoft Azure in the European Union (Ireland), which Two Left Wheels uses only for this. They are deleted from that storage within 30 days. Camera archives can also be provided through a private download link. Either way, they are separate from the diagnostic package created by the application.

By submitting an archive, you confirm that you own or control the rights needed to share its contents. You grant Two Left Wheels a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to retain, copy, analyse, modify, convert, extract from, and use the material privately for lawful purposes related to its products and business. These purposes include development, compatibility work, testing, debugging, support, documentation preparation, and internal demonstrations.

Two Left Wheels may provide private access to contractors or service providers when reasonably necessary and subject to appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations.

Two Left Wheels will not publish the footage or photographs, distribute them to the public, or use them in public advertising, promotion, or demonstrations without obtaining separate permission.

The licence and private retention are permanent. Once an archive has been accepted, Two Left Wheels cannot promise that it will later be deleted.

Feature voting

We store your vote against your account and the proposed feature. Public pages show vote totals, not voter email addresses. You can change or remove your vote. Removed votes no longer contribute to totals.

Cookies and abuse prevention

The support site uses a secure session cookie for form protection and ticket workflows. For abuse prevention, the server converts the connection address into a keyed, non-reversible rate-limit value. Hosting and infrastructure providers may retain ordinary server and security logs under their own policies.

Publication and confidentiality

Submissions are private by default and are never published automatically. A sanitized question and answer may be published only after owner review and only when publication is permitted. Security and privacy reports are never eligible for public publication.

Retention and choices

Support records are retained while reasonably needed to answer requests, document decisions, prevent abuse, and operate the service. To request access, correction, or deletion, use Two Left Wheels 360 Support and include the ticket number and private access code when available.

Third-party components and links

The app includes Dokan, which provides the virtual drive, and FFmpeg. No Insta360 or DJI software is needed. If you choose the Insta360 importer for stitching or audio in a project, the separately installed Insta360 plugin is used. These components have their own licences and policies, and this notice does not describe the network activity of the Insta360 plugin. Opening setup or vendor links takes you to the corresponding website.

Keeping and removing local data

The app keeps its data in your Windows user profile, in a Two Left Wheels folder under %LOCALAPPDATA%. Uninstalling the app keeps its settings, logs and prepared media.

After closing your editor and exiting the app from its tray icon, you can delete these folders. Deleting them removes your projects and settings from the app and means prepared media is made again when needed. Your original recordings are not affected. Review logs before choosing to share their contents with Support.
