Can I use lens guards or a dive case?

Two Left Wheels 360 does not support lens guards or dive cases yet. Its stitching is calibrated for the camera's bare lenses. A lens guard or a dive case bends the light slightly before it reaches each lens, most of all at the edge of the picture, where the two lenses meet. With one fitted, the seam can show misaligned or doubled detail, most visibly on things close to the camera. Underwater the difference is much larger, and the two halves of the picture do not line up.

To help us support them, contact us through the Support page and send original recordings made with a lens guard or a dive case, straight from the camera with their proxy files, and say which accessory you used. We analyse them to see how to add support.

Until then, take the lens guards off before recording what you want to stitch with Two Left Wheels 360. Recordings made with lens guards or a dive case can be stitched in Insta360 Studio or DJI Studio, which have settings for them.
