System requirements
Windows 10 21H2 or later, 64-bit.
A graphics card with Direct3D 11.1 and hardware HEVC (H.265) video decoding. For 10-bit recordings, such as the Insta360 X6's and the DJI Osmo 360's, a card that decodes 10-bit HEVC keeps playback fast. Export stitched files is fastest with the card's hardware video encoder; its CPU formats work without one.
The graphics card decodes and stitches your footage next to your editor. A full-resolution 8K recording uses about 2 GB of graphics memory while it is being rendered, on top of what your editor uses.
An NVIDIA graphics card is needed only for the Gyro + image refinement stabilization option. Everything else runs on any supported graphics card.
Recordings from the Insta360 X4, X5 and X6 and the DJI Osmo 360 and Osmo 360 II, with the proxy files the camera records alongside them. See Which cameras are supported?
An editor that can import MOV files and edit with proxies. DaVinci Resolve Studio is the editor tested so far. See Which editors can I use?
The installer includes FFmpeg and Dokan, the Windows driver that provides the virtual drive. No software from the camera makers is needed.
