The virtual drive and the tray
The virtual drive is a folder on your computer whose files are not stored on a disk: Two Left Wheels 360 makes their content, stitched from your camera recordings, at the moment a program reads it. To your editor they are ordinary video files. How Two Left Wheels 360 works explains this in more detail.
Each editing pack has its own folder on the drive, under Editing packs. The main window shows where, under Edit in, with Open folder next to it. To choose where the drive appears, open ☰, System settings… and choose an empty folder under Drive location. Changing it restarts the drive, and your editor has to relink its files. See System settings.
The drive starts with the app. Closing the window does not stop it: the app stays in the Windows notification area, the tray, so your editor keeps its files. Use the tray icon to open the window again, stop or start the drive, or exit.
To have the drive ready whenever you edit, select Start Two Left Wheels 360 in the tray and the drive when I sign in to Windows in System settings.
If the drive stops while your editor has files open, the editor shows them as offline. Start the drive again from the tray icon or System settings, then reconnect the clips in your editor if needed.
